Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit? The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher. Luke 6:39-40

Today you are invited to consider all those who have taught or still teach you. Who are they? Name them before God – especially those you love/d and those you struggle/d to love. What impact have they had on your life? How have you thanked them? How do you feel about them? Pray for each one of them now by name, asking God to bless them and thanking them for what they have taught you to make you become who you are today, whether you liked them or not.

May God bless you with wise teachers that you, in turn may become a wise teacher yourself and so lead others to improve themselves.

About Mandy Hackland

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
