The incident of anointing ends with Jesus speaking again to the woman:

Your faith has saved you; go in peace. Luke 7:50

Today you are invited to consider peace. How do you experience peace? Do you feel it now? Is God’s presence so real to you that no matter what your circumstances you are at peace? If you are, praise God for His gift of peace. If you are not ask Him to give you His peace. Open your heart to Him either way and let His peace fill you. Times are hard – frightening – but God’s peace supercedes fear and brings a deep sense of security and joy – if you will let Him anoint you with His peace.

May God bless you with His gift of peace. May you feel it wash through you from your head to your toes – and may it splash over to those around you as you live in peace today and in the days ahead.
