When Jesus had told His parable about the sower the disciples did not understand and asked Him to explain. He began His explanation by saying :
‘The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, ‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’‘ Luke 8:10
Today you are invited to consider those around you for whom God and His Word makes no sense. It may be that sometimes it makes no sense to you either. Ask God today to explain any part of Scripture you find it hard to understand and to give you the wisdom to help others understand too when you talk to them about God. How does it make you feel to know that He can use you in this way to draw others closer to Him?
