No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. Luke 8:16

Today you are invited to consider how this describes Jesus in your life. Is He a light on a stand for others to see, or do you keep Him and the role He plays in your life hidden, perhaps shared with only a few trusted friends? What about when you are with your family, amongst friends, in your work place, at the sports or other social clubs? How does the way you shine Jesus for others vary from one place to another? What is God saying to you through these words today? What changes do you think you may need to make? How do you feel about shining the light of Jesus higher?

May God bless you with the courage to shine His light higher in all places from now on, that people may see Him in you and be drawn to Him.
