Jesus had fallen asleep during the boat ride over the lake to the other side. The storm that had arisen was a dangerous one. The disciples were afraid even though they were experienced sailors. When they woke Him, Jesus stood up and quietened the storm with a couple of words. Then He turns to His friends and says:

‘Where is your faith?’ Luke 8:25

Today you are invited to consider this question and your response to it as Jesus asks it of you. What are you worried about? What scares you? What makes you sad, or depressed, or lonely? How will you respond to Jesus when He asks you, ‘Where is your faith?’ He was with the disciples in the boat and brought the situation under control immediately they turned to Him. He has promised to be with you too as you follow Him. What situation do you need Him to show you He has under His control today? Speak to Him about it; give it to Him; and leave it with Him to handle for you. Look for the changes that come about as He works on them for you and praise Him for His care for you.
