Jesus and His disciples went back across the lake to be met by a crowd. One of the synagogue leaders begged Him to go to see his daughter who was dying. On the way a woman for whom Jesus’ healing touch was the last resort, reached out and touched the hem of His garment. Jesus stopped at once and asked:

‘Who touched Me? … Someone touched Me; I know that power has gone out from Me.‘ Luke 8:45

Today you are invited to consider what you need to bring to Jesus as you reach out to touch the hem of His garment. Is it physical healing? Financial provision? Emotional calm? Spiritual renewal? How do you need Jesus to help you today? The woman did not even touch Jesus – she just touched the hem of His garment? And He responded at once. What will you ask Jesus for today? Spend time with Him. Tell Him all about it. And listen and look for His response. He hears you. He loves you. Reach out and touch Him today.
