You are Invited

Whilst Jesus was speaking to the woman who had touched His garment, someone hurried up to speak to Jairus who was waiting for Jesus to go to his daughter who was dying. The messenger told the distraught father that his daughter had died. But Jesus said to Jairus:

‘Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.’ Luke 8:50

Today you are invited to consider what makes you afraid. Where do you struggle to believe that God can or will act on your behalf in answer to your prayers? What will it take for you to believe that He will respond to your need? Spend time with God today and ask Him to help you to draw closer to Him so that your faith grows and you can ‘just believe’. Give Him your doubts and your fears. Watch Him take them from you and hold them close to Him. See Him turn and put them behind Him. Turn back to your life, knowing that God has all you are afraid of and every doubt you ever had in His hands. Open your heart and your mind to the freedom this gives you. Go your way with Jesus

May God bless you with the liberation He gives from fear and doubt as you walk closely with Him today.
