You are Invited

Jesus goes on to instruct His disciples. We will look at what He says over the next few days:

Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow Me. Luke 9:23

Today you are invited to consider what these words mean to you personally. What is the cross you need to take up? How do you need to deny yourself? How do you follow Jesus? If you are not sure about any of these answers, ask Jesus to show you how these words apply to you – and then ask Him for the strength and the willingness to follow Him and do as He asks. How do you feel about this conversation? What difference, if any, will it make to your life? Take His hand and make the first step towards the way of life Jesus wants you to live.

May God bless you with His guidance and His presence today as you follow Him.
