You are Invited

Once the boy had been healed, Jesus spoke quietly to His disciples:

‘Listen carefully to what I am about to tell you: The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men.’ Luke 9:44

Today you are invited to consider what part the human race as a whole played in this handing over of Jesus. What part did you play? How does it make you feel? What do you want to say to God today – will it be for understanding, or forgiveness, for compassion or love? What does He give to you today in response to your prayer? How will you pass this on to those around you?
