Jesus continued with His prayer:

Give us each day our daily bread. Luke 11:3

Today you are invited to consider how God does this in your life. When have you seen Him provide for you when you didn’t think you were going to make it to the end of the month? What do you say to Him about such occasions? Consider the word ‘our’. How does that change any meaning you may have been attributing to this phrase? Perhaps you see ‘our’ as your family, your business, your church. But Jesus does not put any limit on the word ‘our’. How does your understanding and the way you pray these words change if you consider ‘our’ to be everyone? What difference does that make to you? What is God calling you to do to help Him provide for the people the word ‘our’ encompasses? What will you do in response?

May God bless you with a new understanding of ‘our’ today and may He show you how you need to respond to this understanding in His Name.
