Jesus continued:

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Dont be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. Luke 12:6-7

Today you are invited to consider how much God loves you. Have you ever tried to count hair? You may have rich, luxuriant hair; you may be bald. But however you look, God knows. And God cares. If God values five sparrow so much that He will never forget them, how much more does He value you? How does that make you feel? And then to be told by Jesus not to be afraid for you are worth more than many sparrows – how does that make you feel? God cares for you. God loves you. God cherishes you. What do you want to say to God in the light of this verse today? And what does He reply?
