Jesus continues:

When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say. Luke 12:11-12

Today you may not be brought before synagogues, rulers or authorities to defend your faith. But you may meet someone who does not believe in Jesus and who opposes you in your beliefs. You are invited to consider and to listen to what the Holy Spirit teaches you at such times. How do you feel about relinquishing the lead of such a conversation to the Holy Spirit? How prepared do you feel about talking to people in defence of your faith? Do you willingly speak of Jesus, or do you avoid such discussions? Speak to God about any fears or concerns you may have in this regard and give the matter to Him. Then when the next occasion arises, tap into His wisdom and let Him speak through you to the person who opposes your faith.

May God bless you with His wisdom, compassion, understanding and love as you speak to those who do not believe and oppose your faith.
