Jesus told the people around them the parable of the man who stored up all his crops but who died before he could enjoy them. He went on to say to His disciples:
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Luke 12:22-23
Today you are invited to consider how important ‘things’ are to you. When Jesus says ‘do not worry’ how does that affect the way you live your life? How worried are you? What worries you? Tell Jesus about your worries and give them to Him. What does He do? What does He say? How will you respond? Can you trust Jesus with the things that worry you? Why/why not?
May God reassure you today and help you to trust Him in all things.
