Jesus said:

Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. Luke 13:34

Today you are invited to consider being gathered under Jesus’ wings, His arms. How does that make you feel? Held in His arms, close to His heart, while the world rushes on its way around you? How do you need a sense of security today? What are you afraid of, worried about, grieving? Where do you need to be loved? How do you need to be loved? Spend time quietly today, and let God love you. Allow Him to give you the shelter and security you long for. Let His peace flood through you. He came that He may do this for you. Emmanuel – God with you.
