You are Invited

Jesus asked:

If one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out? Luke 14:5

Today you are invited to consider the generosity of God. He had told His people to keep the Sabbath/Sunday holy. To set it aside for Him. Yet Jesus says now that people will rescue a child or an animal on that day. He does not condemn them for doing so. It seems as if He condones such action. The God of love encourages us to worship Him – how does what you do on the Sabbath/Sunday that is specifically for Him that makes such action special? How do you feel about working in order to support your family? What do you do that may not fit into such necessary acts? What is God saying to you today about these things?

May God bless you with clarity and guidance in these matters.
