You are Invited

Jesus said

But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous. Luke 14:13-14

Today you are invited to consider what such a party in your house would look like. Who would you ask? What would you serve? How would you decorate the table? How would such a party differ from one that you would give for your family and friends? How would you feel about hosting such a party? How does the fact that you will be repaid ‘at the resurrection of the righteous’ affect any decisions you may make in this regard? Speak to God about any challenges you have in this regard. What is He saying to you? How will you respond?

May God bless you with the gifts of generosity and hospitality to give away this Christmas time however they are needed in your world.
