Jesus continued to tell about the manager’s illegal behaviour as he encouraged his master’s debtors to reduce the amounts they owed. Now we see the master’s reaction

The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light. I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings. Luke 16:8-9

Today you are invited to consider what God is saying to you today. Spend some time asking Him to tell you and then waiting for His reply. Make a note of it in your journal. How would you explain God’s response to your questions to others? How will you respond to what He says to you today?
