As Jesus and His disciples went up to Jerusalem, He sent two of the disciples ahead, saying to them

Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you ‘Why are you untying it?; say ‘The Lord needs it.’ Luke 19:30-31

Today you are invited to consider this unusual request. When has God asked you to do something strange that you didn’t understand? Did you do it or not? Why did you respond in that way? What happened? How would you feel if He asked you today to do something that does not make sense to you? How will you respond now? Speak to Him about any struggles you may have in this regard. What does He say to you and how do you respond now?
