You are Invited

On entering the temple courts, Jesus began to drive out the merchants, as he said to them

It is written … My house will be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of robbers. Luke 19:46

Today you are invited to consider how your church building is used. Is it a market place? Is it used for political gatherings? For feeding the hungry, for educating the uneducated, for business ventures? How do you feel about these things? Have things changed since Jesus’ day? Do His words apply to the churches of today or not? Why/why not? What would you say to defend or condemn such usage? Speak to Jesus about these things? How does He respond?

May God bless you with wisdom both in recognising what is right in His eyes, and what action you need to take on His behalf, if any.
