Jesus continues with His warnings but also gives us hope:
There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Luke 21:25-27
Today you are invited to consider the hope of Jesus. What is He saying to you in this passage? How can you share this good news with those who are afraid of the future? Who needs to hear His words today? With the events of the world ripping apart life as we have known it for so long, how do Jesus’ words offer you comfort? Speak to Him today and ask Him for a deep sense of hope for yourself where you need it and for others who are afraid at this time.
May God bless you with an awareness of His presence, His comfort and the hope He offers today.
