For those of you who have followed me for a while, it will come as no surprise to learn that I am an author. I haven’t published anything recently, having been kept busy with other projects, but yesterday, 5 April 2022, I pressed the publish button for my latest book Look to the Flaming Skies.

In September 2021 I woke up one morning feeling a burning need to do some research for myself on the prophecies contained in Scripture regarding the time when God will bring this world to an end and begin again. I knew God was inviting me to go on an adventure with Him and I couldn’t wait to begin.

I began to read. And I made notes – bible references, my own comments and extra information I gathered from teachers and scholars I had come to respect. Within six weeks I had fifty-eight pages of notes.

Phew!

That night, when I went to bed I asked Jesus what He wanted me to do with all that information. He made it clear to me that He wanted me to write a simple account of what I had discovered. An easy-to-read document about the Rapture of the Church. (For those of you who do not know what the Rapture is, Jesus has promised He will come back to fetch His Church, His Bride when God decrees the time is right). Whilst we have no dates to put on this event, Jesus and others gave us signs to look for.

Now I am just an ordinary Christ-follower. I am not an ordained minister. I do have a diploma in theology, but am not a great theological scholar. But I knew, with Jesus’ help, I could do what He was asking of me.

The book covers the first three chapters of the Revelation of the Apostle John. It is a book full of joy. And whether you know Jesus or not as your Lord and Saviour it contains Good News in that Jesus is waiting for all who turn to Him and invite Him into their lives.

Signs are all around us. We, as followers of Christ, need to know what those signs are and to keep a watch for them.
