You are Invited

Jesus had finished His time alone in the garden. He returned to the disciples to find them sleeping. He said to them:

Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. Luke 22:46

Today you are invited to consider what you do when you are tempted to do something you know is wrong. Do you try to resist in your own strength? Do you turn away and pray? Do you give in? How does prayer help you? What is Jesus saying to you through these words today? Can you accept what He says? Why/why not?

May God grant you the strength you need to resist temptation whatever it may be.
