When the two disciples on the Emmaus Road told Him what had happened in Jerusalem He said to them:

How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter His glory? Luke 24:25-26

Today you are invited to consider whether some of the answers to your questions may be found in Scripture. How well do you know your Bible? How often do you read it? Do you dig in it to find what you are looking for? Do you want to know the context, the traditions, the history? Or is a superficial reading enough? Take one passage in Scripture and research it. There are guides online that will help you with this. Just type in the passage reference and see what the enquiry calls up. How do you feel knowing there is so much depth to what you have just read? Maybe it speaks of customs or beliefs you did not know about. Take time, now and again to research your Scripture passage and learn more about God as a result.

May God bless you with a hunger for His Word in all its meaning today.
