You are Invited

The last words of Jesus which Luke records in His Gospel are as follows:

I am going to send you what My Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high. Luke 24:49

Today you are invited to consider how much power you think you have. What is the source of your power? Do you believe the Holy Spirit, the Helper, is available to you and willing to empower you as you serve God and others? Why do you answer in this way? When have you been aware of the Holy Spirit’s help recently? What are you planning on doing which will require His help? Does the fact that He is willing to help you make a difference to your plans? Why/why not?

May God bless you with the Helper He has promised to all who follow Him.
