You are invited

‘He is not here.  He has risen!…‘  Luke 24:6
Today you are invited to consider how these words colour your life.  What do they mean to you?  How do they help you face tomorrow; or the loss of a loved one; or loneliness?  Wherever you are struggling in life how does the hope of the empty tomb and the promise that Jesus gives in Matthew 28:20 ‘I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’ influence you?  If you struggle to believe these things, ask God to help you to understand and accept that these words are for you.  Death does not end life or love for those who follow Jesus.  And Jesus is there for all who love Him – all the time.
May God bless you with an awareness of His presence and the hope the empty grave offers today.

About Mandy Hackland

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
