You are Invited

A rich young man came to Jesus and asked Him a question, addressing Him as ‘Good Teacher’. Jesus picked him up on this form of address. He said

Why do you call me good? … No one is good – except God alone. Luke 18:18

Today you are invited to consider the way Jesus always pointed to God the Father. What is your relationship like with the Father? How has your relationship with your own father influenced how you feel about God the Father? Do you pray to Abba (Father) or to Jesus? Why? What does Jesus say to you today about how you feel about the Father? Ask Him for help if you need it, with both your relationship with God the Father and your own father.

May God bless you with a renewed understanding and love for both Himself as your eternal Father, and with your human father today.
