You are Invited

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the servants of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.  2 Timothy 3:16-17
Today you are invited to consider how Scripture colours your life.  What influence does it have on you?  When does it encourage you to do something that is out of your comfort zone?  What Scriptures come to you when you are tempted to do or say something that you know is not right?  What is your favourite Scripture?  Why?  What verses make you feel uncomfortable?  Why do you think this is so?  How do you hear God speaking to you through Scripture?  As you read your Bible today, ask (and expect) God to speak to you through the words you read.  What is He saying to you today?
May God bless you with Scripture that speaks to you today.

About Mandy Hackland

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
