… being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.  Philippians 1:6

Today you are invited to consider what work God has planned for you to do.  What are you doing that is specifically for His Kingdom?  Is it your day to day work in your office as you spread His love and joy to those around you; or perhaps the way you care for your little ones; or the way you play the sport you love, setting an example of His way?  Or could it be something that you have not yet found?  How willing are you to work for God – to do the work that He desires you to do – especially if it prevents you from doing other things that you enjoy?  How much time are you prepared to give to God as you follow His plan?  Speak to Him about these things today.  Ask Him to show you exactly what work He has designed for you if you do not already know; and what you need to give up to make more time for this task.  Speak to Him about your frustrations – and your joys.  Give it all to Him, and watch as He gives it back to you so that you see it in a new light and tackle it with renewed energy.
