Do to others as you would have them do to you  Luke 6:31

Today you are invited to consider what these words mean to you.  What do they do to you when you read them?  How do you react to people who are unkind, rude, angry towards you?  How often do you turn aside their negative behaviour with a smile or a kind or gentle word?  What happens if you enter a room where you know someone waits for you who is hard to love?  Do you enter defensively or do you step in boldly with a positive attitude of hope and love, holding on to God?  When you try to do the latter, how does their attitude change?    Talk to God about healing the relationship every time you see them.  Ask Him for His help and guidance as to how to behave and what to say.  It may take several attempts but watch for signs of change.
