You are Invited

One day Jesus was praying in a certain place.  when He finished, one of His disciples said to Him, ‘Lord, teach us to pray…’ Luke 11:1

Today you are invited to consider your prayer life.  How do you pray?  Do you have specific times in a day when you pray or are your prayers dotted throughout the day?  Are your prayers formal or are they more like conversations?  What are the challenges you face in your prayer life?  As you journey through today, try bringing events and situations to God’s attention as you perceive them through your eyes.  Perhaps you will speak to Him about a woman’s sad face, a man’s acid comment, a dog’s plight, a child’s joy, a beautiful view.  Listen to Him.  What is He saying to you as you pray.  How does He want you to be His hands, feet or voice today?  Maybe He just wants you to smile and nod at a lady who has not had anyone notice her for a day or so.

May God bless you as you work for Him through your prayers today.
