You are Invited

Here is what I am commanding you to do.  Be strong and brave.  Do not be terrified.  Do not lose hope.  I am the Lord your God.  I will be with you everywhere you go.  Joshua 1:9

Today you are invited to consider how brave you are.  How do you feel when God asks you to do something that is outside your comfort zone?  What are you facing at the moment that seems to be too difficult for you to handle?  How much time have you spent speaking to God about this hurdle that you have to cross?  What is He saying to you?  What do you do when fear overwhelms you?  How do God’s words to you today change your outlook on what lies ahead?  Talk to Him about your feelings today.  Be honest and share your deepest fears and concerns with Him.  Then sit in silence and solitude for a while and listen for His voice as He whispers His love to you.

May God bless you as you spend time with Him and share your heart with Him today.

    Being brave is not easy – but I have found that is preferable to stepping aside or turning my back on a challenge that faces me. I would rather be brave and not succeed (in my eyes) than live with the regret of ‘what if …’ I pray God’s courage for you.
