But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.  2 Chronicles 15:7

Today you are invited to consider where in your life you need to persevere.  Where do you need God’s strength and encouragement?  What are you doing – to earn your living, to serve God – that does not seem to be bearing fruit or fulfilling your dreams at the moment?  As you spend time with God today, ask Him to show you whether you are doing what He wants you to do.  He may say to you that you need to change direction.  How will you respond to that Word from Him?  Or He may give you a tiny glimpse of the fruit that your efforts will bear as you persevere.  Whatever His response to your request, ask Him for the strength and perseverance you need to do His will and serve Him as He desires.
