You hem me in behind and before, and You lay Your hand upon me. Psalm 139:5

Today you are invited to consider how these words make you feel.  What comfort does it give you to know that God is before you and behind you?  How does His presence with you give you courage and security?  Where do you go, knowing that God goes with you?  How do you feel knowing that no matter what happens He is there?  With what areas of your life do you struggle, so that you wonder if He is really there?  Ask God today for a real, tangible sense of His presence with you, especially if you have an event scheduled which challenges you.  Stop and listen for His response – and go forward with you hand in His, praising Him, knowing that He goes ahead of you and follows you.
