When (the shepherd) has brought out all his own (sheep) he goes on ahead of them and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.  John 10:4

Today you are invited to consider how you recognize God’s voice as opposed to the voices of those around you – and the voice of your own mind.  What do you use as a test to recognize God’s own voice as He speaks to you?  How do you know whether the action you are taking on His behalf is what He wants you to do or what you think He wants you to do?  How much inner peace do you have as you serve Him, no matter how difficult the task?  Spend some time with God today, asking Him to identify His voice for you so that you are in no doubt that the action you take is taken because He is leading and calling you and not for any other reason.
