On my bed I remember You; I think of You through the watches of the night. Because You are my help, I sing in the shadow of Your wings. I cling to You; Your right hand upholds me. Psalm 63:6-8
Today you are invited to consider what you think about when you lie awake during the night. How much of that time do you spend worrying? And how much of that time do you spend in prayer talking and listening to God? How strongly are you clinging to God at this moment? Remember that He is clinging to you too – and however weak you feel your hold is on Him – He will never let go of you. How do you feel about opening your heart, mind and spirit to His ministry of love for you next time you lie awake in the watches of the night. What does it mean to you to know that you are in the shadow of His wings?
May God bless you with refreshing sleep.
