Worship

Sometimes our love for God overflows.  This was such a time.  Join me today in worship.

Worship

Worship the Lord with me for He is our King.  His love surrounds us and is always there.  He sent His Son to be our Saviour, to die, to rise again – come, worship the Lord with me for He is King.

Worship the Lord with me for He is the Lord of the Dance of Life.  He guides our steps, He sings our song, He watches us always, He dances with us, and He cheers us on, encouraging and leading us into increasingly daring rhythms and patterns of movement.  Come, worship the Lord with me, for He is the Lord of the Dance of Life.

Worship the Lord, with me, for He is Shepherd.  He leads and heals, He grooms and supplies our needs; He protects and bathes us in the cleansing, healing balm of the saving blood of Jesus Christ His Son.  He knows where we will flourish and grow; He knows when we will be vulnerable to attack; He knows when the way will be too difficult and He steps forward to carry us through.  He knows each one of us by Name, and will leave the flock to seek those who go astray.  Come, worship the Lord with me, for He is our Shepherd.

Worship the Lord with me, for He is Creator!  Every tiny particle of matter, every gas and liquid, leaf and living creature comes from His hand.  The very air we breathe is His gift to us.  His imagination delights my soul.  His eye for design and colour, texture and size, brings joy to my heart.  His variation on a theme – so many snowflakes, insects, people – all intricately made by the Creator’s hand – and each one different from the others of its kind.  Come, worship the Lord with me, for His creation is abundance of life!

Worship the Lord with me – for He is here.  In the depths of my heart, I feel His presence.  On the surface of my skin I feel His touch; in the recesses of my mind I know His love.  My Creator, my King, I worship you.

Come, worship the Lord with me – He longs to fill your heart with His love and to be central to your life.  He waits and knocks – open your heart wide, Beloved, and invite Him in.  Come worship the Lord with me – for He is King of Kings and He loves each one of us, whether we know Him or not.

About Mandy Hackland

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
