You are Invited

(Zaccheus) wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd.  So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see Him, since Jesus was coming that way.  Luke 19:3-4

Zaccheus had an important job – yet he ran ahead and climbed a tree, abandoning all his dignity – in order to see Jesus.

Today you are invited to consider how willing you are to abandon your own dignity for Jesus.  How important is it to you what other people think of you?  How important is it what you think of yourself?  How often do you put Jesus first, ahead of your own reputation?  Talk to Jesus today about this.  What do you want to say to Him – and how does He reply?

May God bless you as you do whatever He asks of you today – no matter what other people may think of you.
