On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb.  Luke 24:1

Today you are invited to consider what gift you would take to Jesus very early in the morning.  What was the first thing that came into your mind this morning?  Are you worrying about some issue in your life?  Are you celebrating?  Are you struggling to make a decision?  Are you giving this matter to Jesus as a gift?  The women took spices, expecting to minister to a man they had loved who had died.  What will you take to Jesus – your living Lord who is risen from the grave – today?

Christ is risen!  He is risen indeed!
