Honour the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.  Proverbs 3:9-10

Today you are invited to consider how you honour the Lord.  What firstfruits do you give Him?  Do you just honour Him with your hard-earned money or with the work of your hands?  How about the hours of the day – do you use those to honour Him?  What can you do to honour God more?  What project are you involved in at the moment that you can lay before Him and give to Him before you continue with it?  Maybe you are arranging a tennis tournament, or building a cupboard or writing a thesis.  How can you give this to God so that He may be honoured by it.  Talk to God about it – and listen and follow as He guides you.

May God bless you with full barns and over-flowing vats as you honour Him today.
