The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground – trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food…. Genesis 2:9

Today you are invited to consider trees.  What do trees say to you about God?  What is your favourite tree?  Why do you enjoy this particular one?  Or maybe you prefer flowers.  Look around you today.  Whatever season of the year it is for you, wherever you are in the world, thank God for the evidence of His creation that you see around you as you look at the trees, shrubs, grass or flowers.   If you can have a close look at a plant.  Examine the leaves, feel the bark or the stem, smell the flowers, look for signs of life if it is winter.  What do you want to say to God about the growing plant world?  What do you hear Him saying to you, teaching you through plants today?
