You are Invited

Turn, Lord, and deliver me; save me because of Your unfailing love. Psalm 6:4

Today you are invited to consider where you need saving.  What is happening in your life that you find difficult to resist when temptation strikes?  How do you deal with these occasions?  How frequently do they occur?  How do you feel when you successfully turn away?  How do you feel when you succumb?  What do you want to say to God about these times?  Remember, temptation is not sin.  Jesus was tempted Himself (Matthew 4:1-11).  Speak to God about the temptations that strike you.  Pray the psalmist’s prayer; look at the way Jesus dealt with temptation; then, strengthened by God’s love go forward into your day.

May God bless you with His unfailing love and grace today as you face whatever temptation may come your way.
