You are Invited

The apostles left the Sanhedrin rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.  Acts 5:41

The apostles had been speaking about Jesus and were arrested and eventually flogged.  How does this verse make you feel?  How far are you willing to go in order to witness Jesus to those around you?  Who do you tell about Him – and how have they reacted?  What sort of persecution have you faced for speaking about your faith to others?  How has God helped you through that event?  Even at this time, there are many in this world who suffer dreadful persecution because of their faith in Jesus.  Pray for them today and ask God to bless them in whatever way they need.  Then pray for yourself and your fellow congregation members that God will give you the strength to stand firm in your faith for Him too.

God bless you as you stand for Him today.
