You are Invited

‘Who are you, Lord?’  Acts 22:8

Paul tells the crowd in Jerusalem that he asked this question at the time of his conversion on the Damascus Road.  Today you are invited to consider who God is to you.  What picture of God do you have?  Who is He?  Think of some of His names – Creator, Shepherd, Saviour, Guide etc.  Which name is prevalent in your relationship with God at this time?  How has it changed since you first met Him as your Lord?  Is your image (picture, concept) of God loving or judgmental?  What are the roots of the image you have of God?  If you struggle to imagine who He is to you, speak to Him about it.  Ask Him to show you.  Listen for His reply.  How does what He says to you make you feel – and how does in change your perception of Him.

May God bless you as He reveals more of His character to you today.
