Honour your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.  Exodus 20:12

Today you are invited to consider how this command plays out in your life?  What struggles do you have in honouring your father and mother?  Spend time with God today, sharing these struggles with Him.  Be honest.  What does He say to you in reply and what action do you need to take?  Pray for your parents today.  If you have a good relationship with your parents and it is no problem to honour them, spend time today praising and thanking God for them.  What action is He asking you to take as a result of this time?
