You are Invited

You shall not covet your neighbour’s house.  You shall not covet your neighbour’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbour.  Exodus 20:17

Today you are invited to consider what you covet.  What possessions belong to other people do you long for?  What cars, position, ministry makes you envious of those who own them or hold them?  Why do you feel this way?  Spend time with God today and tell Him about these things.  How can He help you in these situations?  Ask Him to do so and praise Him for the victory you have in Him.

May God bless you as you give Him all the things you long for that are not yours to have at this time.

About Mandy Hackland

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
