And the word of the Lord came to (Elijah):  “What are you doing here, Elijah?”  1 Kings 19:9

Today you are invited to substitute Elijah’s name for your own.  What would you reply to God if He asked you such a question?  Would you be assured that you are in the place, doing the tasks He has called you to do, or would you feel uncomfortable about the question and the answer you will give?  What is your answer?  What does God say in response to that answer?  How will your thoughts and actions change in the light of His response?  This is a hard thing to do, but take this opportunity to check in with God as to how close you are to the path He has planned for you.
