You are Invited

And the Lord said (to Gideon) “I will wait until you return.”  Judges 6:18

Gideon found all sorts of reasons to delay taking up the task God had assigned for him to do.  Today you are invited to consider whether you are using delaying tactics to put off the task God is calling you to do.  What excuses are you using?  Are these excuses specific to your calling or are they related to something you know someone wants/needs you to do for them or something you know you need to do for yourself?  Why are you delaying these things?  What will encourage you to tackle them and just do them so that they are behind you?  What do you want to say to God about them?  What does He reply to you?

May God bless you as you take the first step to do those things you know you have to do for Him, for others and for yourself.
