“Come,” (Jesus) said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came  toward Jesus.  Matthew 14:29

Today you are invited to consider courage.  How brave are you for Jesus?  When He asks you to do something the world think is crazy, how willing are you to respond?  What is God calling you to do at this moment that you are reluctant to do because it does not make sense and the world will laugh at you or will try to stop you?  Have you asked Him what that task could be?  How does such a question make you feel?  Sometimes, even small requests made by God can take us out of our comfort zone and make us feel as if we are stepping out of the boat.  Talk to God about such things today.  How will He encourage you?  Peter needed Jesus’ help – which was given instantly – but he was the only one who had the courage to step out onto the water.
