By day, the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. Exodus 13:21

Today you are invited to consider how God guides you.  What signals do you recognize as being God’s voice, or encouragement or warning?  How do you respond to such signals?  What sort of feelings, sensations, sounds, sights, remind you of God’s voice and alert you to listen for His word to you?  If you struggle with these things, ask God to show you how He communicates with you – and then be alert for His voice or His signals during the day.  What difference does it make to your walk with Him when you recognize that He is communicating with you?
