‘So now I give (my son) over to the Lord.  For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.’ 1 Samuel 1:28

Today you are invited to consider how you feel when God asks you to give up something that is extremely precious to you.  Perhaps a loved one, or a home, or a ministry, or work.  Whatever it is, what do you want to say to God about it now?  If this happened in the past, how can you see God’s hand in what has occurred since?  If this is happening now, what reassurance do you want to ask God to give you about the future without this precious person or thing?

May God bless you with His love as you surrender to Him in these and all things.  Know that He loves you and the plans He has for you are to bless you and not to harm you.  May you experience His peace.
